Title: Suggestion for Cougar Mtn. climb
Just wondering if you've ever tried the hardest climb I know of on Cougar Mountain. From Hwy 900 out of Issaquah, turn right onto 185th - just before May Valley Road. It's marked private but it's OK. I know the folks at the top and they have no problem with cyclists giving it a go. It's paved all the way to the top but it's a bear to do without stopping. 800+ ft gain in about a mile or so. I suggest you try it add it to your list. Love the list and I refer to it often for ideas and inspiration. -Craig Burlingame craig.burlingame@comcast.net
